The Guardian's Quiet Fear

The Guardian has always known this crossing would come. She has protected Kali her entire life, shielding her from the truth that lives above the clouds. But once Kali enters the mesosphere, her role changes. She can no longer hide what she knows — about the prophecy, about the power awakening inside Kali, about the frozen planet suspended in time, and about the creatures bound in darkness who can sense her arrival.
